Valuation of tea estate and other plantations throws enormous professional challenge due to diverse activities and equally diverse nature and characteristics of the assets constituting the estate. Vast extant of any estate includes not only plantation but also diverse ancillary activities involving various types of plant and machineries, factory building, offices, bunglows, houses, labor quarters, nurseries, vegetations etc. Apart from ascertaining the yielding capacity of the crops; their corresponding ages, also influences valuation of the particular estate. Tea Estate and other type of plantation valuation involves in depth understanding of the complexities of subject which includes various branches of Engineering viz. knowledge in Agriculture, Civil and Mechanical Engineering etc.


Profile:

Sri Das is a professional valuer and has been in the practice since 2004. He is an approved valuer of Immovable Property, Plant & Machines. He is also a registered valuer of Tea plantation by Income Tax authority under the Government of India. He is also in the panel of valuers in as many as 12 Nationalised and other reputed banks and financial institutions. His clientele include some of top corporate houses, both private and government undertakings.

Sri Das successfully done valuation of over 100 tea estates belonging various reputed companies and corporation. He has also done valuation works of approximately 8000 various other assets so far.
